It’s an excellent camera for recording video. I don’t recommend it as much for photography for several reasons. It only has one lens and you can’t take photos in portrait mode with a bokeh effect, it tends to contrast the images a lot and usually the blacks look too intense and don’t let you see the details. I don’t love that the panoramic mode only works horizontally and to take a panoramic selfie you can only do it in 3:3 format if the camera could be rotated you could take panoramic photos of very tall buildings but it can’t. The menu isn’t the easiest to use and it’s sometimes confusing to know how to handle the joystick in conjunction with the screen to apply its functions. Once again, photography isn’t its strong point. For video it’s another thing, it achieves images almost as good in video as an iPhone 15Pro but with the advantage that you don’t saturate your phone if you use it for a trip. It’s light, easy to handle and in automatic mode it works well in the vast majority of situations. I’m not crazy about the carrying case either, it doesn’t protect the camera or accessories well because they’re packed too tightly and the USB port for the accessories could get damaged over time. The camera’s microphones, like the DJI mic that comes included with the creators pack, are one of its main attributes and make it far superior when recording audio. The battery doesn’t last very long and for recording clips for an afternoon it might be enough but not beyond that. It must be used with the battery in the handle and that makes it a bit cumbersome although it’s still functional and portable. I recommend it in general terms, it’s great and although it’s not perfect it’s worth every penny.
